Softland India Ltd is a Public limited company established in
1995 by a group of IT Professionals. We provide embedded systems based IT solutions such as portable billing machine, electronic handheld pc, etc. We are pioneers & market leaders in
developing and manufacturing non-PC hardware devices. We have vast
experience in developing microprocessor-based devices. Our core
strength is in the field of embedded solutions and we are mainly into
providing of embedded solutions for the field automations. With an
increasing strength of about 80 staff, we are able to achieve
continuous success in all the field automations projects we take up.

Palmtec Big B Palmtec
Big B = PC + Printer + UPS Palmtec is a hand-held computer with in-built printer & PC
interface. It is very rugged, and hence suitable for the rough
environment. It weighs around 800 grams and runs on a rechargeable
battery. Palmtec Big B is being used in places where keeping (or carrying)
a set of PC + Printer + UPS is impossible. Eg: In buses, go-downs, delivery sales vans, raw material collection centre, fertilizer depots etc. daily deposit collection & loan recovery of banks, ticketing in buses, spot billing in electricity & water suppliers, spot billing in petrol bunks and billing in delivery sales vans are some major applications of palmtec.

Palmtec Amphibia Palmtec Amphibia is an intelligent handheld computer with the a state of the art
technology of ARM Processors. Palmtec Amphibia comes with a 30 key
keypad, meant for continuous usage, 128x64 Graphical LCD, 2 Inch
Thermal Printer, 2000 Mah Built Lithium Ion Battery Pack, USB
Interface, 4 MB data memory. An array of applications are being incorporated to use in the palmtec amphibia including bus ticketing, delivery van sales, daily deposit and field payment collections. Various software ported on to the machine enables the user with state of the art features such as multi level password protection, in built secure data to suit the customer needs. Being very small and handy palmtec amphibia can be used for any of the portable and handheld applications. Being thermal model, it can print 32 col. tickets and bills very fast as low as 50 mm per second. Applications:

Print Marval
Print Marval is a very small, rugged serial 24/32 column mini printer that is
suitable for all types of environment. It is designed with small
footprint and comes with an aesthetic plastic enclosure. It works on
dot matrix, thermal printing technology. Its weight is just 400 grams
& runs on rechargeable battery. It can print up to 15,000 lines
even in a single charge. It occupies only i.e. 3.2" x 4.4"
x 1.8" (L x W x H).

product ranges. The In house production facilities like Soldering
station, Test Chamber, Charging Station makes it convenient for the
Production department to complete the various phases of production In

We were the first company in INDIA to come out with the Automatic
Paging Machines equipment called Page-IT. Later on we launched an
Automatic Telegram Handling system, Gram-IT and various models of
Offline Payment Collection systems namely GramIT-TR, Mobile-TR,
CellOne-Tr, GramIT-TRB, Mobile-TRB, and
CellOne-TRB etc. Subsequently we were successful in
launching an array of portable billing machine, electronic handheld pc including Palmtec, Cashwin and Print
Marvel.

Milestones
- Company incorporated with ROC Kerala in the year 1995.
- Launched Page IT – the first ever auto paging messaging terminal for Pager industry.
- Successfully completed projects for automation of Telegram handling for DOT in Kerala by indigenously designed, developed and manufactured products. GramIT-TR is an integrated computation and communication terminal which can be installed at Post Office, Telecom Centers and Cash Counters. GramIT-TR is ideal equipment for applications like Telephone Bill & Demand Note Collection in offline mode, Transmission and Reception of Telegram, Fax, Telex Booking etc.
- Successfully completed project for offline Telephone revenue collection for BSNL using GramIT-TRB, an indigenously designed, development and manufactured product. GramIT-TRB is an integrated terminal for telephone revenue collection, booking and telegram communication with the options of connecting Barcode, MICR & Card Readers. GramIT-TRB is having an in-built communication card for communicating the collection details to the reporting centre.
- Successfully implemented offline Telephone Revenue Collection System for BSNL in Kerala, TamilNadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Haryana and Shillong within a short span of 3 years. Over 4000 BSNL and Post Office counters connected by our offline Telephone Revenue Collection System.
- Our entire system - GramIT-TRB is handling millions of telephone Revenue daily at maximum-security level.
- Successfully launched the indigenously designed, developed and manufactured Handheld Computer - Palmtec for various portable applications like Electronic Ticketing, Spot Billing, Logistic Management, Mobile Payment Collection etc.
- Successfully launched Cell One TRB, an integrated terminal for telephone revenue collection, booking and Cell One Payment Connection with the options of connecting Barcode, MICR & Card Readers. Cell One TRB also has an in-built communication card for communicating the collection details to the reporting
- Successfully launched the VAT enabled POS / Cash Register Cashwin, a small cute champion that can be used for Table Top or Counter Billing activities like Petrol Pump billing, Shop Billing etc.…
