Digital Control Valve (Globe):

 

Extensively used in loading terminal automation systems in refineries and storage tanks of petroleum products for effective and accurate filling of tankers and railway wagons, these are electrically actuated, hydraulically operated multi-function control valves. Presence of two solenoid valves facilitates the receiving of signal from batch controllers to position the valve for low flow/medium flow / high flow conditions, as programmed. These come in the size 25NB – 400NB.

 

Pressure Reducing Valve (Globe & Angle):

 

Available in 25NB – 400NB size, these automatically reduce a higher inlet pressure to a constant lower outlet pressure. It is composed of a main valve and pressure reducing control pilot. By acting on the topside of control diaphragm, slight changes in downstream pressure causes the main valve to counteract pressure changes and hold a constant outlet pressure. Regardless of the change in flow rates/or inlet pressure, the regulator will reduce the upstream pressure to a constant downstream pressure. Sensing of the downstream pressure is done by the pilot, which is a normally open valve.

 

These are offered in the spring range of:

• Standard: 20-175 psig
• Optional: 5-35 psig
