• Accurate machined guide ways are used to guide the ram throughout its length, thus, ensuring proper clearance and clean cut

Hold - down system:

• Spring loaded mechanical hold down pads are used to hold the sheet securely
• Slipping and bowing is avoided thus, resulting in clean square cuts
• On request, oversize pads are provided to the hold down units to avoid impressions

Knives:

• Ease in assembling of knife reduces down-time
• SOLGEN Shears have high quality single segment (HcHcr) Knives for longer tool life
• Knife blades are four edged

Lubrication:

• Through a hand operated lubrication system, all bearing parts and guide surfaces are lubricated

Mechanical Back Gauge:

• Least errors and maintenance encountered
• Standard equipment for all solgen shears
• On the back gauge, a scale is provided for giving instantaneous reading of distance between shear and back gauge

Finger Guard:

• For operator protection, it is fitted in front of hold-down
• Does not obstruct viewing
