Sonalika also manufactures Tractor Driven Combine Harvester both with and without the front cabin. It can be operated with tractors ranging 50 H.P and above. These are fitted with power steering for convenient drive.
Its main components are cutter bar, main threshing drum, guide drum, straw walkers, grain storage tank, elevators, sieves, blower, worms and outer pipe for shifting grains from storage tank to tractor trolley. Variety of crops, like wheat, paddy, sunflower, soyabeans, mustard, etc are cut & threshed by this machine by making simple adjustments. Wheat/paddy drums, wheat/paddy/mustard concaves, gap between drum and concave - all can be adjusted conveniently, depending upon type and quality of crop, with the help of lever system, mounted just close to the driver’s seat.
This harvester can cut the crop about 75mm above the ground, simultaneously cleaning and collecting the grains in storage tank of combine.

Instruction set for operating 9 Tyne cultivator is secondary tillage equipment most commonly used in India for field preparation. It essentially has tynes with reversible high carbon showel points at the end arranged in two rows on a sturdy steel frame. The front row has five tynes and the rear row has 4 tynes and it is ideally suited for 35 h.p. Tractors of all makes and types with cat ii linkage. Depth of operation is controlled by tractor hydraulic.

1. Hitching the cultivator to tractor
A) Attach the cultivator to the tractor by aligning the holes of the lower arm with the pins attached on either side of the cultivator and the pushing the holes of the lower arm of the tractor in to the pins of the cultivator. Lock the free end of the pins with lynch pins.
B) Align the adjustable screw top link of the tractor with the holes on the upper edge of the three point linkage of the cultivator by placing the top link in between the two flats of the three point linkage of cultivator and then lock the same by means of the pin provided with the top link and lock the free end of the pin with lynch pin.
C) Tighten the top link to the extent that the three point linkage of the cultivator is perpendicular to the ground for normal operation.

2. Angle of penetration
The angle of penetration / pitch of showel points can be varied very easily by adjusting the top link. Tightening the top link increases the angle of penetration resulting in deeper penetration while loosening the top link has reverse effect.

Maintenance tips
1) Ensure proper tightening of all nut bolts with periodical checks as per the usage conditions.
2) Ensure usage of lynch pins to lock the free ends of the locking pins.

Sonalika Disc Plough

1. It is a plough which cuts turns in some cases breaks furrow & like be means of separately mounted large steel discs.
2. A disc plough is designed with view to reduce with friction by making rolling plough bottom instead of sliding plough bottom.
3. A disc plough works well in the conditions where Mould Board Plough does not work satisfactory.
4. It is more useful for deep ploughing.
5. It can be used in stony and stumpy soil without much danger of breakage.
6. It works in loose soil also (such as peat) without much clogging.

Hitching the shrubmaster to tractor
A. Align the shrubmaster so as to bring the lower arm of tractor in line with the pins provided on either side. Insert the lower arm into the pins by pushing the lower arm and lock the free end of the pin with the lynch pins provided.
B. Align the hole at the free end of the adjustable top link so the tractor in the gap between the hole at the top end of the shrubmaster lock it in place by means of pin provider with the tractor and lock the free end with lynch pin.

2. Collapsible shaft
A. Attach the collapsible shaft to the shrubmaster by matching the hole of the small coupling of gear box with the coupling attached to collapsible shaft and then fitting them with the six bolts provided with shrubmaster. Make sure that spring washer are insert between the nut and coupling to ensure that the bolts do not loose during operation.
B. Loosen the transportation lock bolt attached on the tube of collapsible shaft. Ensure free hand unrestricted movement of the solid shaft in the tube for the proper operation. Lubricate the solid shaft with light oil or grease if necessary.
C. Pull the sliding ball lock the P.T.O attachment backward and then insert the P.T.O attachment in the P.T.O shaft fully till it does not go any further and then release the lock and then pull the P.T.O. attachment backward till the lock into the slot on the P.T.O. shaft. Check the lock by trying the to move the P.T.O. attachment forward or backward. The P.T.O attachment shall remain in position once lock properly and will neither move forward or backward.

Only the tractors of minimum 25 HP power are capable of driving the Sonalika Tractor-driven Maize Sheller. After plucking the corn from the Maize plant it is directly put into the self-feeding chute without removing the skin/cover.
The upper drum is used for threshing and skin/cover dehusking while another drum, which is fitted at the bottom, is used for grains. The thrower is fitted to the upper drum. During threshing of maize the skin and wastage is thrown out by the thrower. The clear grains come out through sieves.

INSTRUCTION SET FOR OPERATING

FARM TRAILER is the most commonly used tractor attachment which imparts the real versatility to the tractor as an ideal “rural truck". Farm trailer are usually 2 wheel or 4 wheel type (non-tipping / hydraulic tipping) depending on the usage requirements. They can be hitched to any make or model of tractor.

1. Loading/unloading the trolley
The trolley is provided with three open able panels, two on each side and one on the rear for loading / unloading the material on the trolley. For opening the panels remove pull the locking pins of the panels and then the panel can be swiveled on hinge joints.
2. Rear towing hook
The trolley is provided with a towing hook at the rear for hitching and pulling a similar trolley.
3. Parking jack
The trolley is provided with an height adjustable parking jack which can be used to facilitate quick and single man hitching / unhitching of the trolley to the tractor.

Rotavator is a rotary tillage implement driven by PTO( power take of) which cut, pulverizes, mixes and levels the soil in single pass. Rotavator can be most economically and effectively be used by replacing 1 tine tiller 2 disc harrow 3 puddler and 4 levelers.

5. Rotavator is not a draught implement irrespective of soil condition, it can be worked.
6. The tilth obtained in a single pass of Rotavator is equivalent to 3 to 4 passes of any other draught implement.
7. Especially when the field is with weeds, grass or any green manure crop like sun hemp crops like maize etc.

14 Disc mounted harrow is a secondary tillage equipment very commonly used in India for field preparation and used prior to harrow especially in fields with big shrubs and wild grass. It essentially has high carbon discs arranged in two rows on a sturdy channel frame. The front row has seven scalloped discs and the rear row has seven plain discs and it is ideally suited for 35 h.p. tractors of all makes and types with cat II linkage. The discs are mounted on a 32mm square bar with C.I. spools spacers in between to maintain disc spacing of 225 mm. Every alternate spacer has a bearing hub with two new taper roller bearing and thus total of twelve bearing are used in the harrow. The three point linkage bridge strut is made of flat 65 x 12 and the crank leveling lever is made of 28mm dia rod. Depth of operation is controlled by tractor hydraulic.
