About Us

Sopher & Co. was established in 1949, by Mr. Charles J. Sopher, as a manufacturer and importer/exporter of electrical goods in Mumbai, India. Under the management of Mr. Ronnie Sopher, Sopher & Co. subsequently diversified into L.P.G. adaptors, regulators and controls, catering to the Indian market through United Works Pvt. Ltd., India's largest and most experienced manufacturer of L.P.G. Burners, Controls and equipment used commercially.Sopher & Co. also provides its experience in design and development of new products as per the annexure, to companies in Europe and Israel. These products include Agricultural Castings, Moulding, Hot Tub Jets and controls, Playground Plastic Mouldings, Plastic Mouldings, Sheet Metal and Stainless Steel and Plated Die castings.Sopher & Co. has also recently designed and developed a range of decorative switches in brass and porcelain for the European Market, thereby going back to its roots when the company was founded in 1949.Today Sopher & Co. enjoys a valued place in both the international and Indian markets and looks forward to a bright and productive future..
