In the early 70`s considering the needs of this growing market men of a rare vision and commercial initiative soon realized that the demand for comfort and fashion was increasing exponentially.
They could, therefore believe on their dream.
First established in S. João da Madeira – the town of the most emblematic Portuguese shoe-manufacturing region – Soprefa did not, however rest with the first smell of success. On the contrary it tried everyday to match the growth rhythm of this powerful industry.
In 1986, when Portugal joined the European Community, Soprefa started establishing the first contacts abroad towards the meaningful commercial rapports that it has got today.
Two major directives command all our activities: the “Just in Time” concept, that is, a full dynamic management, perfectly adapted to our goals and, on the other hand, the notion of “Customer Satisfaction”, which means the plain fulfilment of the customer s needs.
Since the very first welt was produced we have been showing an increasing concern with the quality standards of all our products.
Aware of the fact that research, new concepts and technology never cease to amaze us, we always try to keep up. How Investing deeply on innovation as far as materials and design is concerned. This is our struggle. |
