He is honoured with prestigious Rashtriya Rattan Award for his outstanding achievements and distinguished services to the Nation by Global Economic Council, New Delhi. He is also the recipient of Kerala State Energy conservation Award for the year 2005-06 in the category of Research and Innovation.
