A dream child of our Chairman, Mrs. Meenakshi Ramji, Sowparnika was incorporated in 2003 as a Partnership firm with a vision of building affordable homes for the middle and upper middle class segments. She and her business partner since inception, Mr Subramaniam Sreenivasan had been instrumental in driving the organizational success for the first 5 years. Half a decade of core expertise in the construction and Project management arena transformed Sowparnika into a Private limited company. The constant growth gave impetus to spreading the business outside of Bangalore and has enabled us to carve a niche in key high potential tier II cities like Trivandrum and Coimbatore.
A million plus square foot of affordable yet aesthetic living spaces, on-time delivery every single time has made Sowparnika a name to reckon with and the chairman with a single-minded vision for creating this company into a “Nano” or “Air-Deccan” in the residential market of infrastructure business, has orchestrated us in constantly moving forward with our mission of enabling a home for all the lower and middle class growing population in all tier II and III cities.
Sowparnika Projects started with 30,000 sq.ft and moved upto 200,000 sq.ft by 2009. From 2010 onwards, with a new team in place, we have moved up the ladder and are currently executing over a million sq.ft of projects in Bangalore, Trivandrum and Coimbaotre. Further expansion plans in all the 3 states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are going strong. We are on the anvil of launching a new project every 6 months based on the market conditions and input costs. We expect our revenues to grow 100% in the years to come along with our profitability. Along with all the above growth and expansion, we want to ensure that we drive the lean six sigma culture in this organization, with Cost, Time and Quality as the prime features for any projects. We are in the pipeline for launching low cost houses for the growing lower and lower middle class populace. In the very near future we will also be launching 2 BHK homes in the Rs 10-15 Lakhs price point in Bangalore.
