which cover a majority of dust generating applications in industries. These
systems include Dust Collectors with sequential air pulsating for dust bag
cleaning, cyclone type dust collectors, dust collectors with various media
filters to suit any specific application. The Dust filtration range varies
from 100 Micron to 1 Micron in media type filters. The dust collection
capacity ranges from 150 cfm to as per customer requirement.
» Oil
Skimmer
In metal working industry, various water-based emulsions are used as
coolant to reduce the machining temperature. This emulsion is a mixture of
water and different types of cutting oils in a specific ratio. The cutting
oil, used for lubricating various parts in the machine tool, gets mixed with
the coolant. This leads to change in the properties of coolant and thereby
decreasing its efficiency. The lubricating Oil mixed in the coolant keeps
floating on the coolant surface. This generates various types of fungus,
which leads to odour in and around the coolant tank.
To avoid all these problems, Endless belt Type Oil Skimmers are
manufactured by Span Filtermist India Pvt. Ltd., which consists of a geared
motor that continuously rotates a Belt made up of special material which
allows the oil particles to stick to it. These oil particles are then
scraped by a scraper and collected in a separate Oil Collecting bin.
These Oil Skimmers are available from 3 LPH up to 50 LPH capacities to suit
any specific requirement.
The EDM Clean X Filter ensures minimum maintenance costs by utilizing high
capacity replaceable media filters in three-stage filtration system. The pre
filter captures and holds the larger contaminant particles. The HEPA filter
removes reaming smoke and finally an active carbon filter absorbs the fine
gas particles responsible for odour.
