Welding Anti Spatter and Flux

Spatter Cure SC-07 is an anti spatter compound cum flux. Our technology is patented and the compound is non toxic, non-polluting, inorganic, water based anti spatter compound cum flux. A single coating  of the compound helps reduce the cost by about 70%, while the productivity increases by around 10%!

Spatters do not stick to the surface and they can be easily removed with the help of a cloth or brush. Spatters are visibly reduced too and whatever do form, does not stick to the surface. The fluxing properties of the compound helps in forming a stronger weld joint. Thus, with one product you get the benefit of two!!!

Further, this product has been developed by our proprietor, Mr. M. M. Bandyopadhayay. It is an innovative conception to better the weld metal quality. A coating of spatter cure SC-07, before welding, is recommended in the modern day welding process  technology for MS, stainless steel and alloy steels etc because of its following characteristics:

• Heat Resistant Characteristics – Makes it an effective anti-spatter compound.  the conventional chipping and/or grinding operations to clean the spatters are totally eliminated; maintaining a clean environment in the shop floor. this takes care of the safety factor at the work place. Moreover the cleaning cost is reduced by about 70%. slag is also easily detached.

• Fluxing Properties – The diffusion of non-metallic and gaseous inclusions in the weld pool is minimized to provide dense and clean weld. the O2 and N2 content in the weld melt are drastically restricted thereby improving the mechanical and metallurgical properties of the weld joint.

• Insulation Properties – The depth of penetration is increased as the heat loss from the top of the weld melt is restrained by the film, thereby conserving about 5-10% of energy.

Weldmate is another product offered by us. It is also an anti spatter compound specifically suited for coastal areas. But it had less fluxing properties.

Anti spatter with less flux properties (Weldmate SC-07) Among our vast product array, Weldmate SC-07 is another offering. It is almost similar to our other product Spatter Cure SC – 07 but has less fluxing properties. It is more suited for coastal areas. The product incorporates following features:
