Offering a precision engineered range of digital soap bubble flowmeter. S. P. Consultants, Mumbai have recently introduced an advanced version DIGI-2000 Digital Soap Bubble Flowmeter. It measures flow of gases in the range from 1 to 500 ml. /min. The Flowmeter works on the principle of measurement of time required for a soap film to travel through a specific distance, while the film is pushed by a gas under measurement. The time measurement is carried out electronically using a Quartz Clock. The passage of gas through a glass tube is monitored using an Infra-Red light source & Photo-Diode ( Opto-Coupler) system. The signal from this system is processed using a Micro-Controller to give accurate results within a short period of time. The Flowmeter operates on 230 VAC as well as 6 VDC supply & is provided with Rechargeable Cells and a Charging Unit. The Model-DIGI-2000 developed by us is suitable for capillary as well as packed column Gas Chromatographic applications & Gas Analysis related instruments.

Helium pycnometer introduction helium pycnometer, model hp-2000 has been developed for the measurement of density and volume of wide variety of materials such as solid specimens in the form of powders / granules of irregular / regular shapes. As the name suggests, this instrument uses helium gas to determine the void volume with & without the specimen in a sample cup. the difference in the volumes as measured above gives us the sample volume accurately. Consultants, Mumbai have introduced an advanced version HP-2002 Helium Pycnometer for measure the True Density / Specific Gravity of solid samples in the form of powders / granules of irregular shapes as well as samples with regular shape. As the name suggests, it uses Helium gas to determine the void volume with and without the sample in a sample cup. The difference in the volumes as mentioned above gives us the sample volume accurately which is required to calculate True Density of a pre-weighed sample. Helium gas diffuses very effectively in the voids thereby giving us true picture about the sample volume with irregular surface texture & odd shape. An electronic pressure sensor is used to determine the pressure by a gas, which is related to gas volume in a closed sample vessel. The pressure signal from this system is processed using a Micro-Processor to give accurate results within a short period of time. Use of Micro-Processor with an LCD Display guides the Analyst through the operation in progress & future action to be taken during the sample analysis. A reference standard with known volume is required to give very accurate results. The results are automatically calculated & displayed on LCD. A low cost Model HP-2000 is also offered where the entire operation & calculation of density are done manually by the operator.

Bet surface area analyser introduction: ? This analyser has been specifically developed for b. E. T. Surface area as per astm d-1069, d-3037, d-4315, d-4567, d-4620, iso s4652 & usp 846. ? Pore volume by nitrogen adsorption & 3-point as well as multi-point surface area analysis can be performed with this analyser. ? Analyser can be operated in stand alone mode guided by microprocessor on lcd or p. C. Mode with menu-driven software for data processing. Windows based software is used for guiding the operator throughout the analysis & data processing. Surface area, pore volume & pore size distribution calculations are automatically done with this software. ? Arrangement for sensing ambient temperature for data processing is offered. ?
