About Us

Spice Islands was established in 1988 by two experienced textile professionals, who between them have over 50 years of experience in the textile & clothing industry.

During the initial set up phase, the company was manufacturing its merchandise through sub-contracted factories & basically offered only Mens shirts & Ladies tops. In the latter part of 1990, Spice Islands set up its own manufacturing facility, which it has since expanded in 1995 & again in 1999.

In 1995 Spice Islands made it's maiden public issue and received overwhelming response due to the company's strong position in the garment industry and sound fundamentals. Subsequently, Spice Islands has been recognized as an export house by the government of India since 1995.
