Shimadzu Roadshow
The Shimadzu Roadshow for the year 2011 was organized in the month of June in Ahmedabad, Goa, Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam . The event attracted a very high turnover of over 1500 customers belonging to various scientific sectors. Shimadzu launched LCMS 8030- Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer, TOC-L � Total Organic Carbon Analyzer and EDX-LE- Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer during the roadshow. Other Shimadzu instruments like Nexera , LC2010, GC and GCMS were also in display. Technical presentations on the various instruments were made by experts from Shimadzu and Spinco. The customers were given a unique opportunity to interact and discuss with technical experts. 4 May 2011
Launch of CuttingEdge
CuttingEdge a monthly magazine from Spinco Biotech, which will focus on the latest technologies, trends and applications in the field of Life Science and Analytical Instrumentation was launched on the 4th of May 2011 in Hyderabad by Mr Ichimura, General Manager, Marketing and was received by Mr. Yasunori Tokumasu, Director Shimadzu Corporation. CuttingEdge will be an interface between Spinco and the scientific community and will provide a platform for closer interactions with our esteemed customers. Each issue of CuttingEdge will give an insight on various innovations in science and technology in the field of Life science and analytical instrumentation, applications notes, current trends, product write ups, press releases and will also have exclusive customer articles and interviews.

1996 - Celebration of 1000th Shimadzu HPLC during 48th IPC, Chennai.
1998 - Received the first order for Kratos MALDI from IISc, Bangalore.
2000 - Celebration of 2750th Shimadzu HPLC by gifting a system to Cancer Institute, Chennai.
2001 - Received the award 'Billennium by Millinnium' from Shimadzu.
2002 - Celebration of 'Decade of Shimadzu LC User Forum' at Hyderabad.
2005 - Celebration of 1000th Shimadzu LC-2010HT HPLC during 57th IPC, at Hyderabad.
2006 - Conducted Seminar on Advanced Development And
Troubleshooting of HPLC Methods by Dr. John W.Dolan, the
author of popular ‘LC Troubleshooting’ column of LC-GC magazine.
2007 - Opening of new Spincotech Complex at Chennai by Dr. T. Ueda
2008 - Opening of new premises of Ahmedabad office by Mr. Osamu Ando
