Further, we have also designed welsch or core plug pressing machine to press the welsch plugs in the engine cylinder blocks or heads.

Operation:

• Though the procedure the clamp is located on the cylinder block or head in position
• Welsch plugs are combined with specially designed vacuum plug holders of pressing ram are pressed onto the component
• Automatic clamping
• The operator only has to load the component and welsch plugs, then press cycle start push button
• fool proof interlocks are provided in the circuit
• The system can be operated through PLC based Control System
• It can be interfaced with machine by connecting slenoid valves, proximity switches, pendents and Man Machine Interface (MMI).

The process on Window Regulator Test Rig:

• The process is to subject the window to repeated cyclic motion by coupling the mechanism to DC motor and torque is measured
• Torque v/s position graph can be seen on computer monitor
• The rig consists of fixture to hold the door firmly
• The D.C. motor is mounted over the triaxial co-ordinate table so that it can be moved to any fine position while coupling it with window regulator mechanism.
• Rotary encoder is fixed at the other end of the motor will give the feedback of position
• Micro switches are provided at extreme position to sense the position of window glass which sends to motor for reversal of its direction of rotation

These machines are also provided with audio visual alarm that gives signal when the torque exceeds by a reset amount. The entire rig is controlled, monitored and data acquired through a computer. Further, A 12 bit add-on card does the interface cum data acquisition. The entire test rig can be put inside environmental chamber wherein the mechanism could be tested for environmental parameters like +82 to -30 C, R4+95. Apart from these activities, we can also analyze the noise inside the chamber. To suit the varied requirements of the clients we also provide the entire test set up on turnkey basis.
