Description :

Spotting fluid is a specially manufactured product used to freeing differentially stuck pipe in a quick and easy manner. This highly effective soak solution has been proven numerous field applications to significantly and freeing struck pipe.

Advantage :

• Lubricates the well bore
• Does not alter the properties of the active fluid system
• Improves lubricity
• Easily weighted up

Application:

Spotting fluid when mixed with diesel or crude oil and placed in the zone of struck pipe, penetrates the cake between the wall and the pipe, release the differential pressure lock and provides a lubrication medium that enables the pipe to be pulled free when a non weighted spotting fluid can be safely used. Building a weighted spotting fluid requires additional material.

Uses: Deformer effectively controls froth and foam in dispersed and non-dispersed water based mud. Deformer is also effective in controlling the foam of polymer can often result in removing. It should be added to the mud pits in a location that allows the product to be incorporated into the entire circulating mud systems.
