The market for lime stone and calcined dolomite containing low silica and high CaO which is desirable by Steel Plants was touched for the first time on a high scale by Shree Ram Lime Products Ltd. (SRLP). SRLP was founded in 1991 and has its manufacturing unit in Borunda, Gotan in Rajasthan. The company is the leading supplier of Calcined Lime, Hydrate Lime and Lime stone to major steel plants, sugar plants, aluminum plants and paper plants in India.
SRLPs acquisition of high quality limestone mines has replaced the import suppliers which catered various Steel Plants.
SRLP has been assigned to take care of the lime management of Alloy steel plants such as Southern Iron and Steel Company Ltd. of JSW Group, Adhunik Metallic Ltd. and Mukund Ltd. / Kalyani Steel Ltd.
