| Wallmaster wall putty is an acrylic resin bound, ready to use plaster, finishing coating for preparing interior walls before painting. Wallmaster wall putty eliminates the use of primers, neeru – the messy lime plastering and painter’s putty – the most uncertain composition mixed at the sites. |
| wallmaster wall putty is a pre-mixed, ready to use compound, putty like in consistency with a very smooth and perfect finish. It is a formulation with acrylic binders, selected inert fine fillers and additives like thickeners, special fungicides, rust-inhibitor and preservatives thereby making the surface more resistant to cracking and peeling and keeping it free from deterioration for years. All water based paints and solvent based matt and lustre paints can be applied directly without any primer to any surface levelled with wallmaster wall putty. |
area of application: wallmaster wall putty can be directly applied on:
smooth sand cement and lime plasters, pre-cast concrete, levelled brick work, plywood & asbestos cement sheets
methods of application:
use painter’s putty knife or mason’s trowel.
make sure that surfaces are absolutely dry and set completely. Clean bits, ribs and loose materials before application.
minimum thickness of about 1 mm must be achieved for covering the surfaces fully per coat. Further coats may be used to build up thickness for perfect levelling.
dries in 6 hrs. For rubbing and painting. Rub with fine emery, wipe the residual dust with a soft cloth. The wall/surface is ready for painting.
no primers required. Over coating can be done with distempers, plastic emulsion paints and solvent based matt and lustre paints. For glossy enamel paints use one coat of alkali-resistant wallmaster primer.
if material is too thick, a little water can be added to bring it to a workable consistency.
coverage:
wallmaster wall putty is basically a levelling and smoothening material and should not be confused with the spreading and coverage of paints. The material consumption varies drastically depending on the contours of the surface and thickness of material applied.
on normal smooth wall / plywood surfaces coating of 0. 6 to 1. 00 mm thickness is sufficient for optimum levelling and covering.
. storage stability:
minimum 3 months in un-opened conditions. Unused bags should be stored in a cool dry place. Partly used material bags should be tied properl
