We come from a background, which reeks of business lineage, sharpened by exposure to the whirlpool of business fortunes. We come from the dry, desert and arid regions of Rajasthan in India, which is known for its entrepreneurial drive and is scattered throughout India in particular, and the globe in general. From such roots we originated, moved over to Hyderabad and pioneered the textile trading business in the heart of Deccan plateau of India. We were much impressed by the passion and zeal of the State Government to encourage growth and development, its policy to push forward reforms on the right road.
We moved from purely textile trading activity, catering to whole country and ventured into textile processing, dyeing and printing activity a decade back under the name, Sri Navdurga Textile Processors Pvt. Ltd.The shift was a unique one, since the total textile processing business was concentrated mainly in western India i.e., Ahmedabad, Surat, etc. Well-honed by generations of marketing expertise, we could feel the pulse of the market, the same of which has enabled us to release the best and the most perfect products which were well accepted by the people, so much that demand for our products exceeded supply margin in the country. As on now, our products have created a niche for itself in the textile markets of the country.
Our progress over the years has been consistent even during periods of dire recessionary times. This has enabled us to be totally debt free and have no interest obligation to outsiders. Promoted by the late Shri Madan Lal Ji, Shri Chandra Kant Agrawal and Shri Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, Navdurga tracesits beginnings back to the year 1951, when a team of dynamic entrepreneurs decided to transform their window of opportunity into a long and adventurous journey into the realm of the unexplored. Equipped with skill, experience and enthusiasm, they charted new territories and established the foundations of a corporate empire that has evolved into one of the most successful groups of companies in the country today.
A seed is sown; a tree evolves
The Navdurga Group began its operations with the establishment of a Textile Trading Company known as C. Madanlal and later M/s. Giridhar Lal and Co was established. The success of this enterprise led to the setting up of a Textile Processing Unit under the name Sri Navdurga Textiles Processors Pvt. Ltd. Spurred on by these achievement, the Group expanded to the realm of jewellery with the establishment of M/s Meenakshi Jewellers in 2004. As this new company grew and prospered, the promoters decided to incorporate an international enterprise and M/s. Rudraksh Jewellery LLC was born. With the boom in India's construction industry, the Navdurga group met the rising demand for international quality structural steel by setting up Sri Navdurga Billets Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2007, following it with a steel re-rolling division bearing the same name, in December 2009.
Our Team
Our company came into origin through the efforts of Shri Chandrakant Agarwal and his father Late Shri Madanlal Agarwal. After the demise of Late Shri Madanlal Agarwal, the company was strengthened by the entry of his other son Shri Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, as a Director. Shri Chandrakant Agarwal is the Managing Director of the Company and is managing the day to day affairs. Both the Directors are associated with the textile business, since inception of their careers.
