Nauta Conical Dryer The nauta conical dryer and mixer can be modified to perform various process such as:
- Drying using hot water/steam by jacketing.
- Further drying by applying vacuum, specially of thermal sensitive materials.
- Cooling by jacketing, agglomeration, crystallization, granulation.
- Homogenisation during drying or cooling.
- Reactions for solid-solid/solid-liquid.
Advantage of above equipment for above mentioned operations are:
- Low energy consumption.
- Can be preformed relatively within short time compared to other processors.
- Besides it is a completely closed system, hence environment-friendly.
- Effective space utilization, as it can be suspended form top on lugs and utilizes more vertical than horizontal.
- Drive on top, charging on top, discharge on bottom through gravity, all contributes effective maintenance and easy product handling.
- Several operations and processes can be combined resulting in lesser human handling and less time requirement.
- Vapour recovery system can be installed.
Accessories:
- Vacuum filter arrangement: It consist off a set of cartridge filters of suitable material fitted in a housing. Dust coming out with the vapour are entrapped and made to fall into dryer using nitrogen purging system solenoid valve and timer controlled. The housing is directly mounted on dryer with bypass system of isolating valves for use in case of failure of filters.
- Vapour recovery system: The vapour duly cleaned of dust is passed through a system of a condenser, receiver system to be liquefied and collected. The sizing and design will be determined by extent and type of vapours, solvents in the wet product.
- Lump breaker: The lumps or agglomerates formed during drying can be milled to original grain size of product by using lump breaker mounted on bottom portion of cone near apex.

Planetary Mixer & Press Principle: The drive is connected to the beaters through a set of a sun and planetary gears. The planetary motion is imparted for mixing or blending solid-solid, liquid-solid and liquid-liquid products. Basic Features: Vessel:Cylindrical with welded bottom dish and flanged top dish. It is provided with 3 castor wheels for moving. Necessary nozzles are provided on top dish and vessel. Top dish is attached to drive mounting plates so as to lift and move down by means of column and lifting arrangement. Depend upon process conditions and product characteristics and batch size, vessel can be designed. Agitator assembly:It consists off one or two beaters, either open paddle type or closed type. With scrapper or without it. The beaters are attached to planetary gears, which are driven by motor-gearbox combination. Drive: It includes a motor v-belted to a worm reduction gearbox and spur-geared to planetary gears. Total drive is mounted on two arms of a column so as to move up and down over it. Lifting mechanism:It is mechanical type with a lead screw and a guide-bar with a sleeve to move vertically up and down a column mounted on a stool. The sleeve is mounted with drive load. There will be a motor and gearbox combination for operating. Modification / Variation / Types Available:
