TPR are Thermoplastic Rubber Compounds based on Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene(SBS) Copolymers. Polystyrene it's a hard and resistant plastic that makes SBS enduring. Polybutadiene its a rubber similar substance, that gives more flexibility to the Compound.
PVC is the only material that doesn't come 100% from oil. PVC weight is divided in 57% of chloride (that comes from salt) and 43% of ethylene (that comes from oil). It's the main raw material for PVC Resins. PVC by itself isn't liable to process so, it's necessary the use of additives like stabilizers, lubricants, modifiers, calcium carbonate, politicizes, among others. PVC is a plastic material which importance in industry and society is due to its characteristics, is a nontoxic substance, solid, resistant, impermeable, steady and doesn't propagate the flame. In what concerns to Environment, PVC is a substance 100% recyclable through physical, chemical and energetic means. PVC can be divided in two major groups, FLEXIBLE PVC and RIGID PVC (UPVC), with hardness from 45 to 95. Shore A for Flexible compounds and 40 to 90 Shore D for Rigid ones, that can be produced in opaque, transparent, bright or mate, colored or non-colored. Both products can be processed by Extrusion, Injection, Blowing & Calendaring.
