operation of tubular centrifuge: the tubular centrifuge consists of a bowl, an especially designed slow acceleration motor & starter. The bowl rotates at 15000 r. P. M. And generates a centrifugal force of 16000 times the gravitational force. The liquid mixture to be separated is put into the nozzle of the centrifuge placed at the bottom base. When the liquid enters the, the centrifugal force acts on the liquid entering their specific gravities. The inside layer is formed by the lighter liquid the heavier liquid forms the outside (towards wall to bowl) layer. While the mixture constantly enters the bowl, two phases are discharged continuously from two separate holes provided on the top portion of the bowl. During clarification job, discharge hole of the bowl is closed and continuous discharge of clarified liquid is possible. Once the machine is topped, the solid accumulated inside the bowl can be removed manually.
