Forbes Marshall dial thermometers are availaole in rigid stem or capillary stem options
Those thermometers are mercury or gas filled with the indicating pointer driven by a chrome
molybdenum centre wound coil and do not have any moving parts. The contiunity between the sensing both and the coil is maintained by a mlorobore mild steel capiilary. Rigid stem thermometers are available for immersion lenghts upto 1800 mm and capillary type thermometers can cater to requirements upto 30 meters long. Special electrical contacts and protection thermowells can be provided where required. Special bimetal dial thermometers provide contamination free fast response measurement with stability in 40 seconds.
