Acetic acid being the main ingredient of vinegar, it is processed thorough fermentation of ethanol. The concentration of acetic acid is variable in vinegar, depending on its usage like:
• 4 to 8 percent by volume for table vinegar [1] (typically 5%)
• Higher concentrations for pickling (up to 18%)
