Every library member is given an RFID Identification card, and each Book will be tagged with an RFID label that is hard bound in them. After this, as the member takes the book to the issue/receipts counter, and he will get an ID card read by the RFID reader as well as the books read. Furthermore, the stock verification is done by having a mobile RFID reader or a CFA reader attached to the PDA. These units are taken to the book shelf and the library attender simply shows the reader to the books. Later, the RFID label in the book transfers its data to the mobile reader. The Data in the mobile is further downloaded into the system, and an online stock verification is also possible using mobile reader 0318.

Apart from this, electronic article surveillance is done by placing the RFID antennae at the entry and exit points. As the issue is done, the RFID label is deactivated, and when the book is returned, the label is activated. The alarm automatically triggers in case anyone tries to take the book out of the library without doing issuing the same.
