As early as in 1936 a rubber factory was established in Gujarat to cater the needs of the fast flourishing textile industry in our country. We later on expanded to fulfill the needs of other industries such as Chemical and Engineering industries and many others. In 1949, we became the only producers of Hard Rubber Hair Combs in the country and thus entered the field of consumers goods.
In 1952-53, we diversified to manufacture of Rubber Stopper for Antibiotic Vials and thus entered the field of Pharmaceutical industry in which we were pioneers in the country. In mid 60's, we became the pioneers for the manufacture of Rubber Cycle Tubes in the western region. In late 60's, we once again led the industries in the field of Water Delivery and Suction Rubber Hoses. The present unit is under the guidance of techno entrepreneur Mr. Divyakant N. Sheth, the son of one of the founder Late Mr.Navnitlal R. Sheth and is under the management of Mr. Sudip D. Sheth since 1989. The unit has earned the respect and recognition of prestigious industrial customers. |
