STAR REFREX is an Air -drying anti-corrosive Coating specially developed for application on the KILN SHELL INSIDE before the refractory bricks are laid. STAR REFREX can resist heat upto 700 deg. C and prevents corrossion even at such high temperature. The use of STAR REFREX prevents metal errosion and hence it stops the reduction of shell metal thickness which increases the life of the Kiln Shell.

PROTOCOTE Properly combines the finest 325 mesh Aluminium powder and a modified Bitumen Resin to produce a rich protective coating for metal structures and composition surfaces. STAR FLAMEX FIRE RETARDING PAINT is a positive fire protective for application by brush or spray to combustible and metal surfaces, for Interior or Exterior use. It is Synthetic Base Paint and Ready to use for all surfaces.

Flamex I C is water based intumescent fire retardant polymer coating for interior and exterior (top coating required) applications. When subjected to fire, it swells 60 to 100 times than that of its original thickness forming a stable and inert carboneous char, which forms a physical barrier between the flame and the substrate. This char thermally insulates the substrate from heat and stops the availability of oxygen required for fire initiation. It provides fire protection to most metallic and non-metallic substrates. It provides effective heat shield and insulation to the substrates.

Star Flamex ICE is high performance, high build, solvent free. Suitable for the protection of steel, aluminum and other substrates from hydrocarbon and cellulosic fire. It is lightweight, robust, fast curing, damage resistant and provides excellent corrosion protection and fire protection. It is a substitute to vermaculate cementous plaster.

Heat naturally flows from warm area to cooler areas, regardless of directions. In winter, heat flows from the inside of a building to the outside. This flow of heat can never be stopped completely, but the rate at which it flows can be reduced by using material which have a high resistance to heat flow.
