Acetone is considered one of the most effective solvent rush cleaners and is used quite extensively to remove uncured resin from tools. It can be also be used for degreasing wax, stripping paint and for the removal of super glue.

There are various other features of acetone, some of which include:

Toluene is used as a solvent in paints, paint thinners, chemical reactions, rubber, printing, adhesives, lacquers, leather tanning, disinfectants, and to produce phenol and TNT (a component of explosives). It is also used as a raw material for toluene di-isocyanate, which is used in the manufacture of polyurethane foams. The precise means of toxicity of toluene is not known.

Xylene is released from oil and gas developments and is used quite often as paint thinner. A clear, colourless, sweet smelling liquid, xylene can be quite flammable.
