Curved Surfaces:

To mount a vibrator to a curved surface, you can select a bracket made from a channel section or a bent plate.

Rectangular Hoppers:

Mount vibrator and mounting channel as has been done for a curved surface or conical hopper. In the case, a stiffener obstructs mounting, mount the vibrator in the middle of panel next to the stiffener.


Hopper with Sloping Discharge:

Mount the vibrator on the centerline of the hopper, as close to the discharge as possible.

Star Trace Vibratory Motors are totally enclosed 3Phase, Squirrel cage induction motors with adjustable, eccentric weights mounted at both the ends of the shaft, to set up vibrations during rotation. The design of shaft and the selection of bearings have been carefully done to withstand heavy radial loads.

Star Trace Vibrating Tables are designed to settle and compact dry bulk materials in various types of containers. Their application provides either a sizeable increase in the net weight of the container or reducing in the container size with subsequent savings in shipping and storage space.

It is also very effective for handling a wide range of metal parts such as nuts, bolts and rivets. In a more unusual application, units settle 2,000 Kgs coils of strip steel to obtain alignment before transportation and storage. These are available in two types Electromagnetic & Electromechanical. The choice of the proper type and model depends upon the application, characteristics of the materials or objects being handled, its reaction to vibration, the maximum weight to be handled and the type of container.
