Anti Nitriding Compounds

Selective gas nitriding is done by use of special masking compound manufactured by SPS.

The areas where hardness is to be avoided during nitriding is coated with the masking compound. This ensures prevention of hardness in desired areas. Benefits of using anti nitriding compound made by SPS are:

Prevents nitriding on areas of component where nitriding is not desired.
Reduces consumption of ammonia gas during nitriding.

The selective gas nitriding compound has lead to increased productivity in the area of nitriding.

Powder Anti Nitriding Compounds

ESPON- ANP powder anti nitriding compounds is to be mixed with ESPON-ANL liquid to form a paste. This paste is applied as coating on area where case hardening is to be avoided during nitriding. Degreasing of components is necessary. Sufficient time is to be provided for drying of Anti nitriding Compound before charging coated material into furnace.
