Hot Forging Lubricants

Eco friendly, non polluting hot forging lubricants that help in increasing die life are the need of the hour of the hot forging industry. SPS manufactures graphiteless, water soluble, non-polluting lubricants which have proven to increase hot forging die life from 30% up to 100% as confirmed by customers. This hot forging lubricants is enabled as the wearing of dies is greatly reduced by good lubrication. Load on forging presses and hammers are also reduced. Oil Based Hot Forging Lubricants

ESPON-TAP paste tapping lubricants is used for difficult to tap materials like stainless steel, nickel base alloys, aluminium alloys, ceramic tiles, etc. ESPON-TAP paste is usually used for tap sizes above 10 mm.

Water Soluble Hot Forging Lubricants

(Item Code: ESPON-GLF7)

ESPON-GLF7 hot forging lubricants is graphiteless and water soluble. It is used as lubricant for hot forging dies. ESPON-GLF7 hot forging lubricants is used by spraying or manual application after mixing in water. ESPON-GLF7 graphiteless, water soluble hot forging lubricant is found useful for shallow and deep cavity dies and also for profile jobs in hammer and press forgings.

Water Miscible Hot Forging Lubricants

(Item Code: ESPON-DLW)

ESPON-DLW hot forging lubricants is graphite based and water miscible. It is used as lubricant for hot forging dies. ESPON-DLW is used by spraying or manual application. Continuous stirring system with pressure feed tank is preferred. ESPON-DLW graphiteless, water soluble hot forging lubricant is found useful for shallow cavity dies in hammer and press forging.

Die Forging Lubricants

ESPON-GLF3 hot forging lubricant is graphiteless and water soluble. It is used as lubricant for hot forging dies. ESPON-GLF3 is used by spraying or manual application after mixing in water. ESPON-GLF3 graphiteless, water soluble hot forging lubricant is found useful for shallow cavity dies and profile forgings. Hot forging of components such as gear blanks is made much more productive by use of ESPON-GLF3.
