About Us

steelsworth limited was incorporated in 1949 and a small workshop was established in tinsukia, assam (north eastern region of india), with one lathe and one drill machine with a view to serving the needs of the tea factories in the area.


from 1950 to 1954 the workshop was developed to manufacture oil and water tanks, trailers, structural, etc. A foundry was also setup for jobbing work. Repairs of tea machinery and manufacture of their spares were also undertaken.
from 1954 onwards, more plant and equipment were added and new products were introduced periodically and today, steels worth is the largest manufacturer and exporter of tea processing machinery in the world.
