The machine is constructed with a heavy cast iron body, comprised of heavy duty roller, fitted with 3 pairs of roller bearings and 4 Jaw dog-chuck on the top of hand scraped bed and saddle, which moves on hardened & ground lead screws made from special alloy steel and phosphor bronze split nuts.

Microdial graduated in 0.002" is provided for accurate chasing. The tilting arrangement of cutter spindle is mechanical for accurate adjustment of Helix angle.

The machine is capable of circumferential grooves as well as milling of Standard 8" upto 13" dia Jumbo CTC roller. It has an automatic cutter traverse from a 2-speed special gearbox, one forward and one rapid return. The dividing head's assembly enables the cutting of 40, 50, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 96, 100 and 120 helical grooves. The machine can accommodate CTC Rollers up to 52" size.

The machine is complete in all respects, fitted with motor, starter, limit switches, coolant pump with tank, pipelines, milling cutter & grooving chasers. The machine is to be operated from 380/420V AC supply mains.

• The machine is off a foor-proof nature catering to semi-skilled labour and is designed to operate at maximum efficiency giving long touble-free service.
• The machine is capable of milling one helical groove within 2 minutes on a 24 inch ctc roller, within three minutes on a thirty six inch ctc roller and four minutes on a forty eight inch ctc roller having fast forward and rapid return arrangement. Automatic cutter traverse is driven through an oil-emersed gear box.
• The machine is capable of milling standard as well as 13 inch dia. Larger size ctc rollers fitted with two microdials graduated in 0.001" to control milling cutter depth of cut.
• Hardened and ground worm spindle and centrifugally cat phospher bronze worm whells go into the manufacture of this machine, to insure long troble-free service.
• The mechanical cutter-tilt arrangement enables easy and accurate adjustment of cutter gear box.
• The Heavy-duty roller steady is fitted with six roler bearings for rigid support and rovided with a rack and pinion for easy positioning of steady.
• The machine is supplied complete with motors, starters, limit switches, coolant pump with tank, pipe connections and fittings, IT is only necessary to connect 380/420 volts A.C. supply to the main swithc to make the machine operable.
