Quality checks are exercised at three main functional areas

With state-of-the-art technology, qualified staff and stringent quality checks, Stelmec ensures quality & conformity. Its quality norms are as per National and International Standards. Its products fulfill Indian Electricity Regulations and is fully type tested as per IEC requirements.

Quality is ingrained in the functional fabric of STELMEC. Raw materials and incoming components are sourced from ISO 9000 certified companies and go through stringent quality control tests at all stages of manufacturing.

The finished products are made as per stringent ISO 9001 standards and are   tested for conformance to the latest IEC & IS standards at NABL accredited independent labs at ERDA & CPRI.

The tests conducted in QC laboratory include high voltage insulation test, contact resistance test & other routine tests. Indoor VCB panels are subjected to critical test like the internal arc fault test, in accordance with the latest IEC standards.  STELMEC's business processes are highly structured to maintain continuous material flow.

Stelmec is going to launch the Medium Voltage range of products with foreign collaboration. Some of the products are going to displayed in Elecrama 2008.
