Die Vorschriften überlassen dem Hersteller oder Betreiber die Entscheidung, mit den Schaltern :
Hauptstrom, Steuerstrom oder Haupt- und Steuerstrom abzuschalten. Ausschlaggebend sind Faktoren der Sicherheit und Wirtschaftlichkeit.
Sämtliche Hauptstrom-Kontakte arbeiten beim Ein- und Ausschalten mit Sprungschaltung (Schnappschaltung).
Steuerstrom-Kontakte können auf Wunsch mit Schnapp- oder Tastschaltung geliefert werden.
Hilfsstrom-Endschalter können auch als Kopierwerke Verwendung finden.

The Stromag Periflex® Top Torque is an improvement of our well-proven shaft coupling PNA. It is particularly suitable for connection of two shafts in diesel engine and electric drives. The mounting could be simplified by constructional modifications and the nominal torque could be increased by higher requirements in quality to the rubber/fabric tyre; the nominal torque covers the range from 35 Nm up to 20460 Nm.


In all other respects the known advantages of our shaft coupling PNA apply. Because of the special construction of the shaft tyre the Periflex Top Torque can overcome extreme offsets with low restoring forces, without noting any wear. As a standard, the rubber/fabric tyre is provided with a parting line in our works so that it can be mounted and dismantled radially without necessity to shift the connected machines.

Auxiliary current spindle cam limit switches are simple mechanical switching devices allowing 1 switching point in each direction of rotation only.
The advantage of this arrangement is that at this switching point several switching contacts can be actuated simultaneously and in parallel; e.g. several independent control current circuits or 1 main current circuit of 2 or 3 phases can be disengaged simultaneously.

The main applications are e.g. the main current disengagement of escalators, small lifting gears, conveying systems, etc.

Construction

  • The housing of the switch HSPH consists of seawater-proof aluminium casting.
  • The input shaft sleeve is led in maintenance-free, sealed roller bearings. It turns the trapezoidal thread spindle, which by this turning is shifted also axially in the thread of the stationary holding frame.
  • The switching noses of the two fitted switching and stopping nuts pass a screw-type route. Compared with geared switches the switching speed is much higher and several contacts can be actuated in parallel by the contact strip.
