We are manufacturer of Rod/Stud straightening machine. The machine is used to straighten the round rods of Diameter 3mm to 20 mm. During Heat treatment, the thin rods tend to bend and hence difficult to do next operation like Center less grinding. To remove the bend manually is very tedious, laborious and Time consuming Job.
In our Machine, there are two slides. The top slide presses the component between the two slides and Bottom slides move to and fro. The component is kept horizontally on the bottom slide and then pressing start button will lead to top slide coming down hydraulically and pressing the component against bottom slide. Bottom slide now moves forward and reverse and hence rolling the component in the pressed condition. This results in straightening of the component. The straightness achieved in this machine is upto 0.05mm. The productivity of this machine is upto 5 pcs/min depending upon the diameter of the component. This process results in work hardening of the component and hence spring back action is not there.
