About Us

We, at Sumangalam Exports Pvt Ltd., provide an eclectic ever-changing mix of high quality home furnishings for every room of the house.

We are leading manufacturers and suppliers of home textiles, since 1969. Founded by brothers Jayant and Madhu Ghelani, and successfully carried forward by the second generation under Pranav Ghelani, the Sumangalam group, has maintained its practice of delivering high standard of quality products at competitive prices for over four decades.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and professionally managed production, merchandising, designing and logistic departments, under the supervision of experienced personnel, ensures quality products of international standard. The entire team passionately strives to excel and create products that endure the test of time.

Design being an important aspect of our products, we have a team of designers, who research and create innovative designs as per the international trends with complete support of the sampling team. Our merchandising, production and logistics team are well coordinated to ensure timely delivery.

Our array of home furnishings include bed linen,curtains, cushion covers, kitchen textiles and towels. We also embellish our range of products with timeless embroidery and appliqué work.

Weaving – We have state-of-the-art shuttleless looms of make Sulzer, Ruti C, and Cimmco Automatic. The grey fabrics are woven upto 126” (320 cm).

The looms have dobby attachments that enable the weaving of fabrics - Plain, Twill, Satin and Panama. We also weave Jacquard fabrics.

Processing – Bleaching, dyeing, and printing of the fabric is all done mechanically.

We produce fabrics up to a finished width of 120” (305 cm). Dyeing is carried out either on a Continuous Dyeing Range (CDR) or on jet dyeing machines depending on the dyeing lot.

Printing is done on Stork rotary printing machines. We use the latest laser engraving technology for development of our screens for printing.

We only use azo-free dyes and all our fabrics confirm to Oeko-Tex standard 100.

We use the high technology Monfort stenter machine and 5 or 7-bolt calendaring machine at the finishing stage of the fabric. In addition we have capabilities of mercerizing, sanforising, raising, peaching, and giving seersucker effects.

Stitching & Confectioning – Our stitching unit is equipped with Japanese Juki stitching machines and we have machines for button holes, over locking, and marrowing.

Quality Assurance – Laboratory with a qualified chemist to monitor and ensure that goods are as per required parameters. Our quality checkers are well trained and ensure that products leaving our factory are as per requirements of the most discerning customer.

Design Studio – Our studio comprises of a young team of qualified designers from reputed design institutes. The design team constantly monitors the latest international trends in the home fashion space and creates designs.

With support from the sampling team, samples are executed and tested before putting forth as a finished product to our customers.

The design studio enables us to give excellent visual presentations with the help of advanced CAD/CAM solutions. This benefits in making the client appreciate the product and execute decisions.
