TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

APPLICATION

Side Pasting Adhesive (SP11) is a pure milky white viscous copolymer. SP11 is designed for pasting sides of laminated carton boxes with cut opening. It can also perform in UV, Aqua coated boards.

 A fast drying water based barrier emulsion with a good gloss

Level and good slip properties. The dry film has a high resistance to water and grease and low MVTR and COBB values. To achieve the best results a minimum dry coating of 6 grams is required. On porous substrates 2 coats will be required            The raw materials are compliant to US FDA Chapter 21, sections 176.170 and 176.180 which relate to contact with wet (aqueous and fatty) and dry foods*. Compliance does     not preclude testing and approval with specific foodstuffs

HANDLING

Stir well before use. Protect from frost. Wash up using water.

Dried coating can be removed by commercial cleaners

UHG1 is standard type UV varnish for paper coating industry designed for High Gloss coating. UHG1 is acrylic based UV curable glossy varnish and is designed for offset printing on paper or plastic surface.  Lamination Adhesive (LA) is a Vinyl Acetate/Acrylic Copolymer emulsion. It has excellent adhesion to plastic foils and films such as those made from PVC, Rigid and Flexible, Cellulose Acetate. LA is used for laminating film with board/paper in Post Print Lamination Process.

Characteristic

A  Medium drying Solvent based emulsion with a high gloss level and good slip properties, Designed for blister pack application and suitable for use with PET blisters.

Heat Sealing.

Excellent blister adhesion should be achieved at temperatures between 100 C and 120 C with dwell time between 2and 5 seconds dependent ob blister material and stock. The suitability of the board and inks should be checked with the relevant supplier.

·         For best result a minimum wet film weight of 8-12 GSM is recommended

SUMUKHA offers high quality pressure sensitive adhesive made of Vinyl Acetate Copolymer emulsion.  It is widely used in making stickers, label stock, bindis, holograms, BOPP tapes and specialty tapes.  These water based PS adhesives offer excellent tack on steel/glass (>800 gm/sq inch) on appropriate coating thickness and curing.

UMG1 is designed for non-glueable, non-hot stamp application which require higher whiteness. Its high Viscose material and is less irritant. After coating it gives good gloss, good slippery surface, no yellowing, excellent scratch resistance and adhesion, no odor and wouldn’t stick while stacking.  It also meets requirements of toy safety, paper recycling.

·         Storage - keeps away from high temperature, high humidity and direct sun-light; keep tightly closed while storing.

·         This product is non self-ignition, corrosive and explosive. For risk, wear mask and gloves while using and handling, and keep watch to prevent touching and breathing. If skin is contacted, Prompt and thoroughly flush skin with plenty of water use soap if available. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. If eye is contacted, rinse eyes immediately with large amounts of water (or 0.9% sterile salt solution) for at least 15 minutes and contact physician as needed.

D3A is a VA homo polymer dispersion suitable for wood to wood joineries with increased water resistance.

APPLICATION

Used  in making wood to wood pasting and joineries and exhibits good resistance to moisture and water.  This product is designed and meets all the requirement for D3.  Modification should be done in such a way not to alter pH below 3.5
