Introduction

Incepted in 1969 by Sri.S.Sankaralingam, Sundaravel Match is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of wide range of safety matchstick and matchboxes. We started our production with 130 cartons per day, which were manufactured manually. Today, we boast up a advanced production facilities capable of manufacturing bulk product in a short turn-around time.

We have 21 factories in our group equipped with modern machines and facilities. The latest machineries at our production unit enables customize products exactly as per the requirement of the customers. Widening our horizon and utilizing the resources in the best manner, we have diversified into the business of Chemicals, Printing, Fireworks, Textiles & off late detergents.

Sharing our industrial expertise, we have been an active participant of the seminar organized by Capexil. We are also member of various organization such as Capexil, All India Chamber of Match Industries and Tax Payers Association.


	Future Plans Investing aggressively, we look forward to import and install latest equipments to enhance production capacity and manufacture best quality of products.


	Products Our range of safety matches are marketed under the brand name of 27, Raja Rani, Light House, Spectrum and Household Matches. Available in variety of sizes and packings, our comprehensive range of safety matches include: Safety Matches Cardboard Matches House Hold Matches Wax Matches


	Infrastructure Located at Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, our manufacturing unit is spread over the sprawling area of 10000 sq/ft. Apart from this, we also have 20 other manufacturing units located in different parts of the country. Our production unit is equipped with the latest Korean and Swedish match making machines that enables us to meet all the requirement of our clients within stipulated frame of time. A comprehensive fire control system ensures safe working environment and manufacturing practices. Coupled with latest machines and talented workforce, we have an installed capacity of manufacturing 1,00,000 cartons per month.


	Raw Material We use best quality raw material procured from the most reliable and certified vendors. The raw materials are sourced from different parts of the country including Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and more. All the raw material are tested in our in-house lab as per ISI standards ensuring quality and safety. The complete range of raw material includes paper & board, splints, veneers, chlorate and more.


	Quality Quality has been the corner stone of the company since its inception. All our matches are manufactured following the stringent quality control norms to ensure international standard of quality. We use best quality of raw material procured from certified and reliable manufactures. Tested for quality and safety, all our products comply with ISI standards. We use different packaging materials such as Corrugated boxes,Cartons and sheet to ensure superior quality of packaging. Our specialized packaging protects the matches from moisture and exposure to heat.


	Wide Network Being a professionally managed company, we have our branch offices located in New Delhi, Agra and Chennai. We have also appointed C&F agents who are responsible for prompt distribution of products throughout the country. We assure our customers timely delivery of products in their desired destination.


	Team Our team of professionals is headed by the Director, Sri S.Hariram Sundaravel, who has more than a decade of rich experience in the field. He has a great contribution in devising policies that has made our company one of the leading export units in the country. Further, we have 61 mangers in our company who looks after the administration and ensures flawless production of the goods. With the strength of around 3500, the other team members comprises of Quality control experts, Researchers, Skilled & Semi skilled workers and more. Along with regular training, we ensure safe and healthy working environment for our employees and provide them with comprehensive insurance scheme.
