His exemplary business acumen was evident when he brought the company to great heights as well as diversified into different businesses. A young man from Pune city in Maharashtra State, India, he had the vision to make Sunnygold a global leader in its field. Youngest of the six children of a trader{Ruliram Agarwal}, he completed his first degree in commerce, then worked with his father to gain first hand experience, practical knowledge that he believed in to be more valuable than formal education.
