Wine Event : 22-27 October, 2007

This wine event, a follow-up of that held in the previous year, was held from 22 to 27 October, 2007 on behalf of ADEPTA, France in Pune and Nasik , Maharashtra, India. Prior to business interactions with Indian wine players, the delegation visited wineries in Pune and Nasik region of Maharashtra.

Wine Event : 23-26 October,2006

A special wine event was organised from 23 to 26 October, 2006 at Nasik, Maharashtra, India on behalf of the Embassy of France in India, New Delhi and ADEPTA, a French Governmental Organisation for the International promotion of Food Processing Sectors to promote trade with the Indian wine industry.

The French companies made presentations on their products and services which was followed by one-to-one fruitful business meetings at the Taj Residency, Nasik.

APEDA sponsored Grape Buyer–Seller Meet : 8-11 February, 2006

In order to facilitate better interaction between the grape exporters and international buyers, a Buyer - Seller Meet (BSM) was organized by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in association with SUNPIKT from 8-11 February, 2006 at Baramati, Pune. This provided a platform for exporters and importers to expand their business. The meet was attended by 22 importers from 14 non-traditional countries and APEDA expected to export 12,000 tonnes of grapes in non-traditional markets worth INR 750-800 million in the season.
