Incepted in the year 1992, SUPER PLATERS, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai-58 an experienced company involved in manufacturing hardchrome plated rods, Heavy duty hydraulic rams, and importing skived roller burnished seamless cold drawn ST52 BK S cylinder tubes that cater to a wide range of applications of diverse industries such as Hydraulic,pneumatic cylinder manufacturers.Also undertaking jobwork services Hard Chrome plating, Cylindrical Grinding, Centerless Grinding, Post Grinding, Machine Grinding, Centerless polishing, Machining and Honing all in house process upto 5 tonne capacity.
Founded by Mr.G. Ravichandran & Mr.R.Kuppuswamy with 25 years of experience in hard chrome plating and Engineering industry. Started the company at a small level and further grown stage by stage to a total plot area of 18000 sq ft.
At initial level we have been producing hard chrome plating then we started machining, grinding and centreless grinding gradually we improved productivity right now we have two units for super platers (ie) Unit –I – FC6, Ambattur Industrial Estate,Wavin Road, Chennai - 58. Unit – II – Ponniamman nagar salai, Ayanambakkam, Chennai.
Further we grown to a level of manufacturing hard chrome plated rods, hydraulic rams. We do undertake job works like hard chrome plating, machining , grinding. We supply our clientele of hydraulic cylinders Manufactures by cutting and machining the imported hydraulic cylinder smls cold drawn skived roller burnished ST52 BK+S tube from Italy

make them corrosion resistant. Our hard
chromium plating is done in the following specifications to each product to
ensure the best quality:
- Hydraulic pneumatic, piston
rod and dies: 25 to 50 microns thicknes
- Injection molding / paper
plastic cup and machine roller: 50 micron thickness
- Shaving machine roller,
Ironing plate, leather and industrial loose parts: 250 to 500 micron thickness
We are provide grinding, plating, post grinding, and reconditioning up to 150
microns thickness for depreciation products so that they attain a quality level
that is abreast to the industrial standards. |

Work Process
We do our operations in the following process:
- Sourcing of Raw material
- Machining as per drawing
- Pre grinding as per drawing(Grinding Stock to be .5 mm extra)
- Hard chrome plating as per drawing (in thickness .1 to .2mm extra for grinding stock)
- Post grinding if required(Finish Dimension)
- Polishing if required
- Quality check
- Despatch
