Cooling Tower:
Specification
Casing
Made of Gel coated fiber glass reinforced polyester and resins.
Fill
Honeycomb and ring type P.V.C. fills are continuously vacuum formed and
specially treated to provide the maximum contact area for heat exchange. The
crossing of air and water streams in close proximity creates a diffused
turbulence conducive to evaporation and efficient heat transfer.
Sprinkler
Supertech's specially designed for uniform distribution of water over the
honeycomb P.V.C. fill. There is no motor, but with the jet recoil force to
rotate and distribute the water. This is made of aluminum/brass to avoid
corrosion. It consists of P.V.C. pipes, on which series of apertures are
drilled longitudinally fitted on a light weight, P.V.C. rotary head and
mounted on sealed ball bearings.
Fan
Made of aluminum alloy, these blades are energy efficient. In conjunction
with other features SUPERTECH towers economize significantly on power
consumption.
Drift Eliminator
To reduce carry over losses through entertainment of moisture drop in air
strain. SUPERTECH COOLING TOWERS (P) LTD. employ a unique honeycomb channel
structure to effectively remove moisture from the rising air stream at the
crucial moment.
Supports and Hardware
All components like tower supports, motor supports, leg supports etc. are
either hot dip galvanized or epoxy coated. Hardware is Galvanized Steel,
Stainless Steel or Phosphorus Bronze hardware can be on request at extra
costs.

Specification
Casing and Louvers
Corrugated asbestos cement board casing is applied horizontally and lapped
to shed water.
Filling and support
Splash bars and supporting structure frame are preservative-treated wood.
Drift Eliminator
High efficiency, single bank, double pass system designed for maximum
removal of entertained water droplets at operating face velocities.
Fan assembly
The standard aluminum alloys fan used on this range of cooling towers is a
multi-bladed axial flow impeller with aerofoil or similar profile blades
which are manually adjustable for pitch whilst the assembly is stationary.
New Target Nozzles
The new "Target nozzle" metering orifices used in hot water basin
of the Cooling Tower are specially designed to deliver required water
distribution and are highly resistant to temperature and weathering damage.
Distribution deck
Hot water distribution floor shall be plywood of the open gravity type,
which distributes the water uniformly over the entire fill area.
