Surendra today is the producer of largest size of densified laminated wood boards in India. Our high density compressed wood boards find application in EHV transformers. We have customer base almost in every part of India. Customers once associated with us work with us on long term basis. We can presently offer a board size of 2000 mm x 3650 mm. We offer both varieties of densified laminated wood boards with coated veneer and also with vacuum impregnated veneers.


Material is named as PHWV-ULD1, ULD2, UMD1, UMD2, IHD1, IHD2, RIDL1 & RIDL2. Where U stands for Unimpregnated or Coated LD and MD stands for Low or medium densities, LD is normally 0.95 to 1.05 gm/cc and MD is 1.15 to 1.23 gm/cc. High density material can also be given with higher resin content, however for most of the technical requirements ULD and UMD are preferred grades. Nomenclature 1 and 2 stands for Orientation of veneers 1 is single direction, 2 is for cross direction veneers. Tangential rings with UMDX can also be offered against specific.

Resin impregnated Wood veneer based laminates are used to produce the studs and nuts. these are very good fastner for terminal connection of transformer leads. they are also very good insulating materials under insulating oil.
