Precompressed press board as it is generally named as is a cellulose pulp based paper board and because of its technical charecterstics it finds its application in EHV transformers. Press board or Precompressed press board is made as IEC 60641 upto 6 mm thickness and above it as per IEC 60763 with PVA or Polyester glue based lamination, thickness measuring upto 120 mm.
