Since 1973, BWA Water Additives has manufactured and supplied the Belgard^® range of antiscalants and Belite^® antifoams to the world's thermal desalination markets. Innovative research & development has expanded the Belgard product range to include antifoulants based on enhanced maleate technology.

Flocon^® Membrane Solutions - BWA Water Additives, a world leader in development of high performance specialty chemical solutions for desalination processes, has introduced "Flocon Membrane Solutions" an extensive range of high performance solutions for smooth operation.

Antiscalants

• The Flocon range of premium antiscalants has a solution for all of the fouling and scaling problems encountered in RO operation. 

 
Membrane Cleaners

• Flocon MC is a complete range of cleaners specially formulated to restore membrane performance through removal of inorganic, organic, silt, silica, and metal deposits.

 
Microbiological Control Agents

• Flocon B is a range of solutions that provide effective control of biofouling for both on-line and intermittent dosing operations.

 
Flodose®

• Flocon Flodose, an innovative predictive software tool allows operators to design effective chemical solutions that prevent scaling problems.

Technical Support
 

• Flocon multi-regional technical teams have a combined experience of more that 100 years in desalination.  Flocon technical teams are available regionally to provide chemical support within a 24 hour response time. 

 
Approvals and Certifications

• Flocon Antiscalant products are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in potable water RO.  Flocon products are also approved by membrane manufacturers worldwide. 

 
Flocon Solutions for Oilfield Desulphation Units. Since 1995 BWA Water Additives has obtained from DOW, a membrane manufacturer, the approval for use Flocon on SR90 nanofiltration units for oilfield application.

The current Flocon range consists of several high-performance anti-scalants, cleaners, and biocides. Our products are approved by major membrane manufacturers worldwide including Hydranautics and Dow.
