SUVARANA URJAs focus is on implementation of these solutions thereby playing a role which will help in conservation of energy and contribute to sustainable development As a step in this direction, we have a designed and developed a range of Small Wind Turbines (SWT) which are used for harnessing wind energy and converting it to electrical energy. SWTs can be used for electrification of standalone homes, rural villages, backup systems for residential units in urban areas and many more applications.
SUWPPL was formed in 2007 with the core small-wind turbine technology developed by Parag Kulkarni and Vinayak Manmadkar with a focus on building a reliable, efficient and cost-effective product. The manufacturing facility is located at MIDC, Badlapur, Dist. Thane. The turbines and blades are designed for 0.45 KW, 1 KW, 3.5 KW, and 5 KW, to enable generation of electricity at low wind speeds from upwards of 3.1m/s thereby opening a significant untapped market in low wind speed/small units. Suvarna Urja strongly believes in consistent development and is constantly working to further improve on existing products and also introduce more products. |
