Low Speed Aerator SUYOG LOW SPEED AERATOR (1 TO 75 HP) THE AERATION DEVICE
The heart of an activated-sludge plant is the type of aeration device employed to perform the exacting duty of providing oxygen to the living organisms. In order to do this function efficiently, the aeration device must not only be capable of transferring oxygen from the atmosphere to the liquid, but must also distribute the oxygen through the bulk of the liquid to the microorganisms. Simultaneously, it should keep the sludge in suspension and most important, should provide complete intimate and uniform mixing of the liquid. Only by performing both the mixing and aerating functions equally well will efficient treatment be obtained.
AERATION EQUIPMENT: SUYOG AERATORS are designed to match the above requirements.
IMPELLER: This is the 'heart' of our Aerator. The impeller is a turbine rotor made of fiberglass reinforced polyester and filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam. Closed metallic reinforcement enrobed by the fiberglass strengthens the base of the turbine and ensures solid fixation to the connecting shaft of the gear box. The materials used in building the rotor ensure an exceptional resistance to corrosion and wearing. The shape of the rotor give optimal stirring and oxygenation efficiency, this shape makes it easier for the evacuation of any objects which might be found in the water without the risk of clogging.
SHAFT: Unlike others, we offer solid machined shaft with close tolerances with facilities of locking plates and high tensile lock-bolts on either side. The shaft is adequately designed to take care of torsional/radial and axial loads.
RIGID COUPLING: This is also machined from solid bars thus eliminating all problems associated with cast couplings. Even the bottom coupling connecting shaft to impeller is fabricated and machined from solid steel bar.
BASE FRAME: This is accurately machined ensuring perfect alignment and long life of unit.
LOVEJOY COUPLING : used between Motor and Gear Box has a facility of replacing rubber bushes without disturbing either.
GEAR BOX - CYCLO / WORM: Gear Boxes are specially selected taking care of round the clock performance, and high axial/radial loads, bending moments and thurst loads including buoyancy. SUYOG AERATORS are thus HIGHLY EFFICIENT, RUGGED AND MAINTENANCE FREE. They can be supplied for mounting on concrete or steel supports or on floats.

High Speed Floating Aerator SUYOG HIGH SPEED FLOATING AERATORS (1 TO 50 HP )
OPERATION: Liquid is drawn through the core at high velocity by the high speed rotation of the impeller. The liquid hits the deflector and produces an area of high intensity spray diffusion. Alarge and continuous air / water interface for oxygen is thus created.
The most common cause of failure of this continuously running high speed machine is inadequate protection of motor from high intensity spray of liquid.
MOTOR: Unlike others, SUYOG AERATORS have a unique feature of Elevated motor by positioning it sufficiently above the liquid splash using a spacer called Deflector.
DEFLECTOR: This is a heavy duty M. S. unit designed for maximum dispersion at minimum of energy loss.
IMPELLER : This is aerodynamically designed, dynamically balanced, anti fouling, non-cavitating, non-clog stainless steel propeller. The pitch is set for maximum hydraulic delivery resembling an axial flow pump.
COUPLING: Vortexing of liquid induces cavitation at impeller which produces axial impact loads in both vertical directions which can drastically reduce motor bearing life. SUYOG AERATORS use a specially designed coupling. This absorbs thrust and torsional loads and protects the motor bearings.
FLOAT: Float is made of fibreglass, structurally reinforced from within and completely filled with high density closed cell plourethane foam making it lifelong with high safety factor for floatation.
SHAFT: Made from S. S. and operates in water lubricated teflon bearing.

Clarifiers SUYOG CLARIFIERSClarifier Mechanism are designed for operation in concrete clarifier tanks. They are available in two ranges of sizes. The first range covers diameters from 3 meters to 30 meters and the second range from 10 meters to 40 meters.
