The mechanical strength as well cross mechanical strength is
enhanced in the process. The BDV is raised to 80% more than
the average found in base insulating kraft paper.
The pH value remains intact but slightly more towards
acidic (prefered). The Hill counts are more than the regular
conventional crepe kraft paper which increases volume of the paper, allows more oil to retain, finally keeps the instrument more cool (Oil Transformer).

The another major product, made out of insulating crepe kraft paper is flexible crepe paper tubes used in copper conductor connections to save time for building up insulation, very easy to use as it is available in standard I.Ds starting from 3, 4,6,10,12,14,16,19,22 & 29 mm. X wall thickness is of 1.5 & 3 mm.
This tubes are so flexible that you can bend it to 360º.
The insulation property in BDV is much more higher
as crepe paper being more compact.

HISTORY:
In electrical industries normally bare copper foil is used as a good conducting agent. When the final product is made this copper foil gets corrode because of moisture in the air & chemical reactions. To prevent such problems the copper strip is to be tinned.

THICKNESS:
Tinned copper foil strips is available in continuous length form 0.05 thickness to 1 mm thick or more. This material is easily solderable with flux. Normally copper foil used is soft (annealed).

WIDTH:
The widths available from 5 mm to 150 mm.

COATING:
Minimum coating is from 2 microns to max 7 microns. There will be an inner core of pvc or metal over which the material is properly wound.
