Air sampler model PAS 500 is easy to handle unit with innovative design
to sample airborne contamination from clean room with class 1, 00,000
down up to class 100. This is much portable tester with flow rate in
the range of 500 liter/min, with comparable results of earlier slit
samplers. In place of slits in conical section of table unit, this has
Petri unit with sieves to top surface with around 1000 micro
perforations. Our air sampler model pas - 500 helps uniform
distribution of colonies on Agar jelly surface.

Suction Unit & Table Unit are connected through hose pipe. Table unit contains rotary table, on which petri plate with agar jelly is kept. This plate rotates at slow speed. Air is being sucked by blower unit through small slits provided in the table unit, above the rotating plate, which impinges on the jelly surface, evenly at high velocity. This operation is kept for different time settings from 0 to 999 Sec on the basis of class of Air in the production area like 100, 1000 & 1,00,000. Subject petri place is then incubated for 72 hrs at 200C - 250C & count of number of Bacterial colonies is taken to decide acceptable norms.
