About Us Started by Mr. V.A Venkatachalapathy in Chikaballapur, Karnataka, India, Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Meat Stall made a modest beginning in 1935. Beginning with handmade soft Mysore pak and other sweets all made by the owner, the shop soon started getting popularity due to its palatable sweets and unbeatable quality. In 1954, the shop moved on to Ranga Swamy Temple Street in Bangalore.

In 1972, Mr. V.A Venkatachalapathy was joined by his son, Mr. V Nagaraj and then Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Meat Stall (SVSMS) and manufacturing plant was set up at Balepet main Road, Bangalore. With 50 years of expertise and fame behind it, today the shop is one of the most sought after sweet shops in Southern India. Living up to the benchmark set up years ago, the shop still serves fresh and hot mysore pak in plaintain leaves.

The immense popularity of SVSMS has taken its stature beyond being a mere sweet shop and now the shop has become a famous tourist hub. Tour operators in the region make sure that their clients get a taste of the delicious, authentic sweets of Bangalore and encourage them to visit SVSMS. The shop is also frequented by eminent personalities from India and abroad. President APJ Abdul Kalam and BJP Leader LK Advani and Jafarshariff are some of the frequently visiting customers of the shop.

Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Meat Stall has no branches and caters to all the requirements from its present location. The authentic soft mysore pak from SVSMS is identified from its logo.
